Attorney Biography
Alexandra Sheppard is a Senior Associate Attorney for Stange Law Firm, PC in Springfield, Missouri. She can assist clients facing divorce or family law matters in Greene County and throughout the surrounding areas.
Alexandra earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in English from the University of Arkansas. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Law. While there, she served as the President of the Federalist Society for one year and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society. She is currently licensed to practice in both Missouri and the District of Columbia.
Prior to joining to Stange Law Firm in Springfield, Alexandra completed work in Washington, DC as a Legislative Assistant. She worked for a US Senator and a US Congressman on judiciary, immigration, and financial services policies. Most recently, she worked for the Greene County Prosecuting Attorney as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. She represented the state in preliminary hearings and bench trials for a variety of felony and misdemeanor charges. Specifically she worked as part of the Child Support Unit, where she analyzed child support enforcement cases referred by the Family Support Division. She would then decide whether criminal or civil charges were most appropriate depending on the individual’s present circumstances.
Outside of her legal work, Alexandra enjoys playing tennis, rock climbing, and spending time with her three dogs.
