Alex graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and then earned a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of The Andes in Colombia. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the Politecnico Grancolombiano, a private university located in Bogota, Colombia. Alex then acquired a Master of Laws (LLM) in American Law from Washington University in St. Louis. He is fluent in Spanish and is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri.
While in Colombia at Politecnico Grandcolombiano, Alex worked as a Legal Clinic Advocate. His duties included pro bono work in criminal, civil, and administrative law cases. After earning his law degree, he worked as an E-discovery and document reviewer for a legal search firm in Columbus, Ohio. This firm focuses its practice on fulfilling the legal staffing needs of corporations, financial institutions, and government agencies.
