Attorney Gallagher was born and raised in the Worcester, MA area. She attended Salem State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, graduating with honors. She then attended UMass Dartmouth Law School where she graduated suma cum laude in 2005. While at law school she was a finalist in the National Moot Court Compeition. She clerked with Judge Charlotte Perietta at the Massachusetts Court of Appeals. She is also admitted to practice before the Federal District Court and the U.S. Supreme Court.
