Jacob Bryce Michalski

Jake Michalski is a dedicated attorney who guides individuals through the challenges that follow serious injuries. Handling both personal injury and workers’ compensation matters, Jake approaches every case with the same care and determination he would give to a close friend or family member. His practice is grounded in empathy, transparent communication, and assertive advocacy focused on achieving the strongest possible recoveries for his clients.

Before joining DM Injury Law, Jake represented injured workers in workers’ compensation cases, an experience that gave him firsthand insight into the physical, emotional, and financial strain injury victims often endure. He also developed a strong understanding of the tactics insurance companies use to limit compensation—knowledge he now uses to carefully evaluate cases, anticipate challenges, and protect his clients’ interests at every stage.

A Topeka, Kansas native, Jake earned both his undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor from Washburn University, where he also competed as a pitcher on the baseball team. His interest in injury law solidified during law school through internships with personal injury firms in North Kansas City.

Outside the office, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife, Gabi, their daughters, Bryce and Scotti, and their two dogs.
