Matthew Thomas Lindholm

Mr. Lindholm was selected to Super Lawyers 2013, and is currently rated as "Superb" receiving a 10.0 out of 10.0 on Avvo’s attorney rating system. Mr. Lindholm is also a member of the National College of Drunk Driving Defense, a board member for the Iowa Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, a board member for the Iowa Association for Justice and if also a member of the criminal law core group for that organization. Mr. Lindholm is also certified to conduct and administer field sobriety tests. He is a co-author of the Iowa Driver’s Rights Card and a co-founder of the Oh Crap App. Mr. Lindholm is a frequent speaker at education seminars throughout the State of Iowa and is well recognized by his colleagues for his knowledge, experience, and success defending those accused of drunk driving and vehicular homicide. Mr. Lindholm’s aggressive nature, attention to detail, and work ethic have provided his clients with vast number of jury trial and appellate victories.

Although the majority of his practice is dedicated to drunk driving related offenses, he does not limit his practice to only one particular area.Mr. Lindholm has developed keen pre-trial and trial skills which he successfully applies to aggressively defend all criminal charges whether at the trial lever or on appeal, as well as forfeiture proceedings, and representation of those individuals being investigated for a crime but not yet charged.
