Attorney Biography
James Nelsen, of Stowers & Nelsen, PLC, is dedicated primarily to the representation of persons accused of having committed a criminal offense. Licensed to practice in both State and Federal courts in Iowa, the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, and Missouri, Mr. Nelsen is exprienced in the defense of controlled substance offenses involving allegations ranging from misdemeanor possession to alleged involvement at multiple levels in large scale drug organizations. In addition to practice, Mr. Nelsen regularly attends national seminars specifically directed at drug offenses to stay abreast of the latest and most relevant information and techniques regarding attacking and defending drug cases from some of the brightest legal minds in the nation.
