Attorney Biography
Don Ward was born in Peoria, Illinois in 1928 and moved with his family to eastern Indiana as a young man. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Notre Dame in 1954 after receiving his undergraduate degree at Hanover College in 1951.
He was admitted to the Bar in 1954. For many years his philosophy has directed his legal dealings with his clients.

For many years people have been referring clients to Don and he has built a network of client friends along the way.
In 1975 he served as Vice-President, Indianapolis Bar Association. From 1978–1979, he served as President of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and acted as Governor from 1979–1982 and 1997 for The Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He has served on the Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission and Indiana Judicial Qualification Commission from 1978 through 1984, 1993 through 1995, and 2001.
Besides holding the highest Martindale-Hubble rating known as AV ®Preeminentâ„¢Peer Review Ratedâ„ , Don Ward has received the distinguished "Lead Counsel" rating.
