Attorney Biography
I am extensively involved in trial litigation primarily in cases involving truck accidents, cargo claims, and commercial disputes. I am routinely called upon by motor carriers and their insurers to investigate catastrophic truck accidents shortly after they occur. I also handle insurance coverage questions, product liability, and general insurance defense litigation. I have successfully defended both bench and jury trials including those involving wrongful death claims. I have represented clients in binding arbitration proceedings, and regularly helped clients achieve favorable settlements of their disputes. I have spoken on truck accident litigation and other related topics at Great West Casualty Company’s Annual Safety Seminar as well as before the Indiana Motor Truck Association and private motor carriers. I have provided continuing legal education to attorneys in Indiana regarding truck accident litigation. I am admitted to practice before all state and federal courts within Indiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth and Seventh Circuits. I am a member of the International Society of Primerus Law Firms, the Defense Research Institute, the Trucking Industry Defense Association, and the Transportation Lawyers Association. I graduated from the University of California, San Diego (B.A.) and Valparaiso University (J.D., magna cum laude) where he served on the Valparaiso Law Review editorial board.
