Attorney Biography
Neal Wishnick has been a Worker’s Compensation and Personal Injury Trial Attorney for over 40 years and a lawyer with Sostrin and Sostrin since 1980.
His practice concentrates in representing employees in workers’ compensation cases before the Workers’ Compensation Commission, Illinois Circuit, Illinois Appellate and Illinois Supreme Courts. Prior to representing the rights of injured workers, Neal worked as a managing in-house counsel for Hartford Insurance in Illinois.
He has spoken on workers’ compensation and disability topics for the Chicago Bar Association, the Worker’s Compensation Lawyers Association. Neal is a member of the Workers Compensation Lawyer Association. Mr. Wishnick is deeply passionate and caring about the needs of his clients and they always receive his best efforts in every matter.
Neal earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from DePaul University and then earned his Juris Doctor from John Marshall School of Law in 1970. He is admitted to the Illinois State Bar, the U.S Courts of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois.
