Attorney Biography
Attorney Michael J. Sorich is a skilled trial lawyer with a focus on plaintiff’s personal injury and wrongful death cases. A former Assistant State’s Attorney for 13 years, Mr. Sorich has tried more than 50 civil and criminal matters in state and federal court, including defending torts and civil rights lawsuits on behalf of employees of Cook County. He has also successfully argued cases before the Illinois Appellate Court and has obtained sizable results for he represents.
Mr. Sorich frequently teaches college-level legal courses and has been a contributing author to the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. He is also involved in community, and volunteers as a soccer coach with the American Youth Soccer Organization. Mr. Sorich earned his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
