Attorney Biography
Chet limits his practiced to representing victims and their families in catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice and police misconduct cases. Since 2013, he has practiced throughout Illinois and Indiana and gained a reputation as a talented, aggressive advocate for clients.
To date, Chet has never represented civil defendants or insurance companies, and has recovered over $30 million for his clients through jury verdicts and settlements.
Chet received his Bachelor of Arts degree in history, cum laude, from Valparaiso University. There, he also was a Kemper Scholar and an associate of Christ College (Valparaiso University’s interdisciplinary honors college).
In 2013, Chet received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he was a member of the Dean’s List. During law school, Chet served as a legal extern to U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul R. Cherry (Ret.) of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. During law school, Chet also worked as a student attorney for the Washington County, Arkansas Public Defender’s Office and the Arkansas Innocence Project.
Chet is currently admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Illinois, Supreme Court of Indiana, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (Trial Bar), U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
In his spare time, Chet likes to spend time with his loved ones, cheer for Chicago sports teams, travel, and read.
