Before committing his life to judiciary work, he enrolled at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. At this school, he earned his Bachelors of Science in Political Science. Upon the completion of his undergraduate coursework, he attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he earned his Juris Doctorate. Currently, he is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, the Justinian Society of Lawyers, and the Illinois State Bar Association.
