Trent A Grant

Trent Grant was assigned to my case in Madison County as a public defender. Since the case was opened, I moved out of state and cannot make the commute. Over the last five to six months, I have called and emailed him several times asking for assistance with my case, to attend hearings virtually. He has answered one phone call of many; in this call, he requested I call back within a day or two. My return call was ignored. Due to this lack of communication, my court date has been postponed four times. I would not be surprised if this happens again.

This attorney was appointed by the judge due to a conflict of interest with the public defender and the fact that my younger son 11 years old never had representation in the first year of a CPA case. I requested another public defender to be appointed so that my one son did have representation and I gave him several items of evidence and he misrepresented fact s had been negligent in speaking with who he was representing who are my children and knowingly and willingly assisted in fraudulent misrepresentation of fact in court. Jenny got really ignorant screaming and yelling and the judge couldn't even get him shut up he was offended because I took him to the State bar association and made a complaint. His retaliation and lack of effective counsel for my children has caused delays and further expenses. Very ineffective counsel goes with the flow and involves himself in misconduct.
