Attorney Biography
Thomas Otake brings over 15 years of experience to Davis Levin Livingston. He focuses on complex and difficult personal injury cases, including those involving medical malpractice and birth injuries, as well as commercial disputes and litigation, insurance bad faith issues, and civil rights matters. Mr. Otake is a native of Hawaii and a graduate of Iolani School, Pacific University, and the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law. In 2011, Mr. Otake was awarded the Extra Mile Award for his commitment to going above and beyond for his clients.
Mr. Otake believes in giving back to his community. He has served on the board of directors for the Hawaii Alliance for Community Based Economic Development and is a former member of the Kaimuki Neighborhood Board. He is currently on the board for the Legal Aide Society of Hawaii and is the appointed governor on the State Defender Council.
