The CBLS defines the term "franchise and distribution law" to encompasses matters involving "franchise or other distribution relationships, and includes but is not limited to matters involving the California Franchise Investment Law, the California Franchise Relations Act, the Seller Assisted Marketing Plan Act, the FTC Rule and other similar types of federal, state or foreign laws, including industry-specific laws."
