Plaintiff's wife died following placement of a subclavian line through the superior vena cava resulting in cardiac tamponade, which was not identified during the 11 minute code during which her heart was not properly functioning.

Defendants failed to properly treat and monitor Plaintiff Shannon Trabue. Defendants removed monitoring to take Shannon to radiology for a chest x-ray. While there, she suffered a cardiac arrest resulting in a period of hypoxia resulting in an ischemic brain injury. Shannon and her husband Keith brought claims for medical negligence and for Keith's loss of consortium.

Plaintiffs' son died following negligent treatment for a pulmonary embolism that developed following a knee injury.
