Attorney Biography
Attorney Robert Hoffman brings over 20 years of family law and criminal defense experience to The Law Place. Originally from New York, Mr. Hoffman earned his undergraduate degree in history from Fordham University and graduated from the New York School of Law in 1989. He worked in private practice in Pinellas County Florida for several years before moving to Sarasota to work for the judicial system as a Trial Court Staff Attorney for the Judiciary in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit.
Mr. Hoffman spent over seven years in as a Child Support Hearing Officer with the Twelfth Judicial Circuit in Manatee County where he heard child support establishment, modification and enforcement cases. Prior to that, he spent 10 years as a law clerk to the judges of the judiciary of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit, where he researched and wrote extensively on criminal law. He joined The Law Place in 2015.
