Attorney Biography
Rachel Drude-Tomori is a named partner with the firm specializing in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate & Elder Law. She consistently has been named as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Estate Planning by Super Lawyers Magazine, a distinction received by only 2.5% of attorneys in Florida. Among numerous honors, Rachel has served as Chair for the Probate Section for the St. Petersburg Bar Association and was awarded the 2019 Rockin’ Chair award for her leadership and fundraising achievements. Recently, she was appointed to the Executive Committee for the St. Petersburg Bar Association.
Rachel frequently assists individuals and business owners in protecting their legacies from government and creditor interference. She has developed estate plans for business owners, corporate executives, wealthy individuals, and professionals and their families with a wide range of estate planning objectives. She also develops estate plans for modest estates aiming to avoid probate and secure financial stability for loved ones. She takes a holistic approach to estate planning and is known in the industry for her creative, out-of-the-box thinking.
In addition to Estate Planning, Rachel practices in the following areas: Probate Administration, Trust Administration, Probate and Trust Litigation, Will Contests, Business Succession Planning, and Elder Law (including Medicaid and Long Term Care Planning). Specifically, Rachel frequently assists clients facing complicated questions about how to meet the health care and financial needs of their elderly loved ones. Through her community outreach, she has established trusted community resources that assist when a loved one is ready to transition from home to an assisted living or nursing home care.
