Attorney Biography
Matthew Lane handles complex cases involving child custody, division of assets, alimony, high asset/high net worth divorces, relocations, and modifications to parenting plans (custody and visitation).
Matthew Lane is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Emory University and a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law. Subsequent to law school, Mr. Lane served as a law clerk to the Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the S.D. OH.
Mr. Lane has been chair of the Palm Beach County Bar Association Marital and Family Law Committee for four terms. He is also a member of the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar. Matthew Lane is listed in Who’s Who in American Law. He is a former Councilmember of the City of Palm Beach Gardens, legal counsel to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, General Counsel to Hospice of Palm Beach County, and board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters. He served as a board member of the Palm Beach Gardens Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, and the North County Neighborhood Coalition.
Matthew Lane is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, and in the State of Ohio. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the S.D. FL, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd, 6th, 7th, and 11th Circuits.
