Attorney Biography
Ms Williams is the founder of the Law Office of Latoya S. Williams P.A. The firm and Ms Williams strive to "Provide competent legal representation with passion and understanding" to each and every client. The Firm handles Criminal Defense, Family Law, Personal Injury matters.
Ms Williams grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from William Marion Raines High School in 2002. Upon graduating from high school she went on to attend The University of West Florida, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies in 2006. Latoya knew at a very young age that she had a passion for the law, children, and leadership. While studying for her undergraduate degree, she served as a Law Clerk for the University’s General Counsel and was recommended to serve as President of a Leadership Counsel formed by the University’s Director of Student Support Services.
Latoya went on to attend law school at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law.While attending law school she served as Treasurer and President of The Women’s Law Caucus, an extension of the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers and also served as a Guardian Ad Litem advocating for children. Latoya graduated and received her Juris Doctor in 2009.
Latoya began a solo practice in Jacksonville, Florida in 2010 and continues to exhibit her passion for the law, children, and leadership. She tutors part-time in Duval County Public Schools and is a member of the Board of Directors for the School of Success Academy (SOS), a local charter school. She also serves as an Affiliate leader under the Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division.
Latoya is a Member of the Florida Bar, United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Bar Association, Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association, and Daniel Webster Perkins Bar Association.
