In 2001, Joel began his legal career working at a regional, Miami-based law firm defending some of the largest companies in the country in personal injury, insurance and breach of contract matters. Thereafter, Joel served as litigation and corporate counsel for a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) broker-dealer. After serving as litigation and corporate counsel for a broker-dealer, Joel worked at a mid-sized, Tampa-based law firm for eight years where he represented many investors, agents, companies, and brokers in lawsuits and arbitration proceedings involving negligence, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and negligent supervision. Joel also represented many individuals and companies, both individually and as a group, in lawsuits involving personal injuries, financial transactions and statutory violations. In light of his diverse experience as a lawyer, Joel now handles a wide range of legal matters for both plaintiffs and defendants.
