Attorney Biography
Joann has practiced law in South Florida for over 18 years. Prior to attending law school, Joann worked in the healthcare sector where her advocacy skills were first honed. Believing that becoming a lawyer was an effective way to bring positive change to people’s lives, Joann pursued her legal education and was licensed in Florida and New York in 2000.Since becoming a lawyer, Joann has provided immigration and consumer protection services to hundreds of clients and their families. Within Immigration, Joann represents asylum seekers, individuals in detention, and various family related immigration applications. Today, the consumer protection part of her practice is primarily Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 Bankruptcies and foreclosure defense.Joann brings her concern for people’s welfare and her knowledge of the law together to assist people through difficult times in their lives. Though each case is different, Joann can provide a reasonable and practical approach to your particular case.
