Jeffery Mark Pfister

I have been practicing law in Tavares, Lake County Florida since August 1978. I was an Assistant State Attorney in the Fifth Judicial Circuit from August 1978 until July 1985. I started handling misdemeanors, Dui and traffic prosecutions and finished in the major crimes unit on death penalty first degree murder cases. I have been in private practice in downtown Tavares ever since. I became a Board Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer in 1987, in the first class of lawyers certified in this field in Florida. Still Board Certified through 2017. I was President of the Lake County Bar Association 2004-5. Governor Bush appointed me the 5th circuit JNC(judicial nominating com) 2003-7 and Gov. Crist kept me on the JNC throught 2008. I have personally handlev10000 plus criminal cases including over 300 jury trials as lead counsel.
