Harold George Uhrig

Licensed for 47 years, Harold ("Hal") George Uhrig is a Criminal Defense and Criminal Appellate Law lawyer in Maitland Florida who attended The University of Florida Levin College of Law. He represents criminal defendants in all Central Florida counties. A former police Sgt., he was also General Counsel and Police Legal Advisor to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, a prosecutor in the 8th and 9th Judicial Circuits, an Assistant Florida Attorney General, and an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Law & Procedure in the Masters Level Program in Criminal Justice at Rollins College. Mr. Uhrig was defense counsel in the first four DNA evidence cases in US history. He has handled thousands of cases and hundreds of trials on behalf of accused residents of Central Florida and many visitors to the area.
