Attorney Biography
Gail has been practicing law since 1985 with over 21 years’ experience in criminal law, first as a prosecutor and then as a criminal defense attorney, establishing her own solo practice. Gail began her prosecution career with the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney’s Office and continued on with the Office of Statewide Prosecution. As a prosecutor with the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney’s Office, Gail was a lead trial attorney prosecuting misdemeanors ranging from shoplifting to D.U.I. and domestic violence. Gail then handled felonies including theft, burglary, sex crimes and attempted murder. As a Statewide Prosecutor, Gail appeared in courts throughout the State of Florida from Tallahassee to Key West, prosecuting serious complex felony offenses including racketeering, white collar crime, kidnapping, robbery and narcotics trafficking.
In 2009, Gail took a 6-year hiatus from her private practice when she was recruited to go in-house with Jabil Circuit Inc., a Fortune 200 global electronics manufacturing company. While her position as Senior Counsel with Jabil provided a great learning experience and the opportunity to travel internationally negotiating contracts, Gail’s true passion is criminal defense and the reward of making a difference for someone entangled in the criminal justice system. She returned to her own practice in 2016 and focuses mainly on criminal defense, but also handles Landlord Tenant issues and commercial contracts.
