Attorney Biography
Forrest Todd Frederick is an attorney with the firm’s Jacksonville, Florida office. Mr. Frederick’s practice focuses exclusively on representing policyholders in insurance coverage disputes, representing businesses, associations, and residential clients through the completion of their cases.
Mr. Frederick was born in the small town of Clinton, Missouri. After high school, he joined the US Navy and was stationed in Jacksonville, Corpus Christi, and Bahrain. He was Honorably Discharged as a decorated veteran after 5 years of service at the rank of E6. While serving in the Navy, Mr. Frederick attended Columbia College and completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration shortly after completing his tour of duty.
After leaving the Navy, Mr. Frederick went on to attain his Juris Doctor from the Florida Coastal School of Law. While at law school, he worked in the school’s Law Clinic, representing the indigent in various legal matters, pro-bono. That experience would pave the way for his early law career, as he represented clients in various legal matters, including family law, estate planning, probate, and dependency.
After Hurricane Matthew devastated Jacksonville in 2016, Mr. Frederick began exclusively practicing property insurance law, representing the interests of policyholders in NE Florida. When Hurricane Irma caused widespread devastation in 2017, Mr. Frederick expanded his practice to represent policyholders throughout the state of Florida. Mr. Frederick also represents policyholders throughout the state of Texas.
