Ellen D. Roberts joined Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey and Fronrath in 2012 after a 26 year career at the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office. She spent the majority of her legal career as supervisor of the State Attorney's Office traffic homicide unit. Ms. Roberts now uses her knowledge of accident investigations and extensive trial experience to provide aggressive representation to individuals and families who have been injured or killed in auto and truck accidents and other personal injury matters. Ms. Roberts prosecuted many high profile cases during her time at the State Attorney's Office including the 2012 vehicular homicide case against polo mogul John Goodman. As a successful prosecutor, she obtained justice for hundreds of crash victims and their families. She has also received comprehensive training on all aspects of vehicle accident investigations including accident reconstruction, low friction vehicle dynamics, physical evidence in forensic science. She is considered a specialist in both forensic mapping and crash data retrieval.
