He was an assistant state attorney from 1972-1975 in Clearwater, Florida and has been a criminal defense lawyer ever since. He has published over 50 substantive articles in both statewide and national periodicals. He lectures around the state of Florida and the country on topics that involve criminal law issues. He is also an adjunct law professor at Stetson University college of law teaching Advanced Criminal Trial Advocacy. His offices are in Clearwater, Florida, the Tampa Bay area.
