Attorney Biography
A native of Venezuela, Attorney Daniela Alvarado immigrated to the United States with her family at a young age. While she was not aware of it at the time, this move would shape her life and put her on the path to assisting future immigrants with their own journeys. As she grew, she displayed increasing interest in all things international, attending an international magnet program at a local high school and obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Rollins College, where she graduated summa cum laude and as a member of the school’s Honors Program.
Daniela then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While there, Daniela served as an Executive Research Editor for the University of Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy. She also received the Book Award in her Privacy Law Seminar after producing a lengthy research paper exploring the privacy implications of wearable technology.
Upon graduation, Daniela received an offer to join one of Florida’s largest defense law firms. Though appreciative of the opportunity, she quickly realized that personal injury was not her passion and returned to immigration, which she knew she loved. Daniela is now able to help people get through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Whatever the case at hand, Daniela dedicates herself to working hard for each and every one of her clients. She handles all types of immigration matters at Vazquez & Poudat, PLLC.
Daniela is licensed to practice in the state of Florida and is a member of the Central Florida Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), as well as a member of The Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar.
