Attorney Biography
CLINTON A. COUCH is a native Floridian. He was born in Gainesville in 1957 and grew up in Tallahassee. He graduated from Godby High School.
Shortly after finishing high School, Clint enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and rose to the rank of Captain. He was a Naval Aviator and flew the CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter in the Third Marine Air Wing at MCAS Tustin, CA.
He received his Bachelor degree in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from National University in 1988 and his law degree from Stetson University College of Law 1991.
He was admitted to the Florida Bar later that same year. Mr. Couch is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeal.
He is a member of the Escambia/Santa Rosa Bar Association and a past president of the Escambia County Society of Criminal Defense. He is also a member of both the Florida and National Associations of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Mr. Couch limits his practice to representing debtors in bankruptcy proceedings and defending those accused of crimes. He has conducted over 100 jury trials to verdict in both state and federal courts. He has successfully represented clients charged with offenses ranging from minor misdemeanors to capital felonies.
