Born in 1956 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Mr. Erickson attended Duke University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree. After several years working in the private sector, Mr. Erickson returned to school to study law. In 1985, Mr. Erickson received his law degree from the University of South Carolina, School of Law where he received numerous honors. These include the American Jurisprudence Award for Criminal Law, admittance to the Moot Court Bar for appellate advocacy, and finishing as a finalist in the National Trial Competition.As a family lawyer, Mr. Erickson advocates for his clients in all aspects of the divorce process, including property distribution, child custody and support, alimony, contempt of court proceedings for failure to pay child support or allow visitation, and modifications of existing decrees child support and visitation due to a change in circumstances.
