Attorney Biography
Casey is a native of Cape Coral, Florida and attended undergraduate school at the University of South Florida. Casey’s early interest in the criminal law inspired him to pursue a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science with a minor in International Studies.
Casey went onto study law at the Fredric G. Levin College of Law at the University of Florida. Casey’s passion for providing legal services to all, including those of lower economic status, led to his choice to intern at The Florida Institutional Legal Services (FILS) and then the Marion County Public Defender’s office. Casey Thompson’s career at Alba & Yochim, P.A began while preparing for the Bar exam. While working for Karen Yochim, Casey found his calling in family law and probate, including areas of divorce, child support, time-sharing, wills and probate administration. In April of 2017 Casey was admitted to the bar and, based on his excellent past work and academics, was promoted to Associate at Alba & Yochim.
