Attorney Biography
Brad is Chair of the firm's Trusts & Estates Practice Group for Florida, is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Wills, Trusts & Estates, and is Martindale-Hubbell ® AV ® Peer Review Rated. Brad has over thirty years of experience representing affluent individuals and families in all aspects of estate planning including lifetime gifts and the various vehicles used to achieve gifting goals, and in the preparation of the various documents required to achieve clients' goals after their demise. Brad also has extensive experience in the settlement of estates and the administration of trusts. Brad's experience, which includes management of the estate and trust administration groups of two large banks for almost six years in the middle of his legal career, makes him uniquely qualified to represent individual and corporate fiduciaries in all aspects of the administration of estates and trusts, including advice regardiing discretionary distribuitons, evaluation and implementation of relevant post mortem planning strategies, and settlement of disputes among beneficiaries. Brad has been involved in the preparation of numerous estate and gift tax returns, and has defended such returns on audit by the IRS.
