Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.), New York Law School 2013 with a concentration on Investment Funds and Wealth Management; Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Quinnipiac University 2006, with a focus on Communications, Journalism and Legal Studies. Admitted to the bars of Connecticut and New York.
Attorney Barillaro began her career in New York, working in the Private Wealth Management industry. During this time, she researched and advised on tax-efficient investment structures, SEC compliance and legal issues relative to marketing of investment products. While attending law school at night, Attorney Barillaro served as Compliance Manager and Legal Analyst in the New York office of a shari’ah compliant investment fund headquartered in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Upon graduating from New York Law School and passing the New York bar, Attorney Barillaro joined Beachwold Residential, a boutique Real Estate Investment and Management firm with 40 properties and more than 12,000 multi-family units in Connecticut, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, Maryland, Tennessee and Virginia.
Just before joining the Wiley Etter team, Attorney Barillaro explored her political interests, accepting an opportunity to manage a campaign for a sixth-term State Legislator seeking re-election. She built a broad, grassroots campaign focused on the issues, and ultimately secured a seventh term for her candidate.
Attorney Barillaro is a proven winner, who focues on assisting women-owned businesses grow and thrive.
Attorney Barillaro is passionate about issues affecting children, youth and women, and frequently volunteers in her community. She serves as Board Member and Treasurer for the Women & Families Center, Board Member for the Meriden Children First Initiative, and a pro bono attorney for Veterans Education Success.
Attorney Barillaro lives in Cheshire, Connecticut with her Abyssinian cat, Moses. Her hobbies include gardening, skiing and hula hooping.
