Attorney Biography
Anthony J. Pantuso III strives to obtain justice for individuals who have been wronged by corporate employers. He currently serves as an attorney at Hayber Law Firm in Hartford, Connecticut.
Tony represents the victims of sexual harassment, discrimination in the workplace, those who have been wrongfully terminated, and those who are owed unpaid wages or overtime. He also represents employees in whistle-blower claims, severance negotiations and all other employment-related issues.
Tony has successfully represented individuals in class actions against major corporations, and has tried over 25 jury cases to verdict. He has appeared before both the Supreme and Appellate Courts of Connecticut and is admitted to practice law in the Connecticut Superior, Appellate and Supreme Courts, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Tony Pantuso was born in Sarasota, Fla., and raised in Newtown, Conn. He graduated cum laude from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn., with a bachelor of arts in Music. In 1992, he graduated cum laude from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Trial Practice.
He has gained broad experience in many fields of law, and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury, workers compensation, medical and legal malpractice, construction litigation, insurance disputes and other matters. In 1998, Tony was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court to the positions of Attorney Trial Referee and Arbitrator/Fact-Finder for the Judicial District of Fairfield at Bridgeport, and continues to hold those positions.
Tony has been involved with the American Bar Association (Litigation and Labor & Employment Sections), Connecticut Bar Association (Litigation and Labor & Employment Sections), New Haven Bar Association, Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association and Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.
Tony currently sits on the Executive Board of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Committee. He also is a member of the CBA’s Professional Discipline Committee, and is an editor of the CBA’s Professional Discipline Digest and a member of the Advisory Board for the Connecticut Lawyer Magazine.
