Salvador "Sal" Quintana, Attorney and Counselor at Law, President and Founder, of the Quintana Law Firm, LLC. His areas of expertise focuses on the practice areas of: real estate law; estate planning, estate administration, probate, civil litigation, and business law.
Sal is a proud native of Denver, Colorado. Sal has an extensive business background in addition to his legal experience. Sal earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law; a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management & Entrepreneurship from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Leeds School of Business; and then graduated with honors from New Mexico Highlands University where he earned his Master of Business Administration.Sal founded the Quintana Law Firm, LLC in 2011 to be able to provide his clients more personal attention in resolving their legal matters in a timely, efficient way, and to be able to better help those in need of legal services. Prior to starting the law firm he was an associate attorney at a mid-sized Denver law firm where he practiced real estate law and civil litigation and previous to that he was in-house counsel for Mines & Associates, P.C. where he advised its executive leadership on strategic planning, negotiations, corporate compliance and governance. During law school Sal served as a law clerk for the Colorado Supreme Court, Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel, the Great-West Life Assurance Company, and he also was a legal analyst at First Data Corporation (FDC). Sal also has an extensive business background in addition to his legal experience. Prior to law school, he worked in public relations, fund raising, management, and marketing for universities and non-profit organizations. He was the director of alumni relations, and co-founded and managed the professional mentoring program at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. Prior to that he was the director of marketing for the University of Central Florida’s Alumni Association, Inc. in Orlando, Florida and previously he was the director of alumni affairs of New Mexico Highlands University Alumni Association, Inc. in Las Vegas, New Mexico.Some of Sal’s current professional activities include being an active member in the Colorado Bar Association ("CBA") and he served as the Denver Bar representative to the CBA’s Board of Governors. He is currently active with the trust & estate, real estate law, solo and small firm practice sections of the CBA. Sal is also a member and graduate of the 2014 class of the CBA’s Leadership Training (COBALT) program. He is also an active member of the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association (CHBA) as a board of director member and is active with providing pro bono volunteering at the business legal nights at the Mi Casa Resource Center and with the Denver Bar Association’s pro se litigant’s legal clinics. He has also been an active member of the Minoru Yasui American Inn of Court. Sal has been an advisory board member and mentor to many law students through the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law professional mentoring program. The Colorado Supreme Court and the 18th Judicial District have also recognized him and the Quintana Law Firm, LLC with certificates for appreciation for outstanding contribution and service for Pro Bono Achievement. Sal was selected as the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association's Outstanding New Lawyer Award in January 2014. He also served 2 terms as president of the Denver Active Professionals ("DAP") group.Sal is also semi-fluent in Spanish and enjoys traveling, the mountains, skiing, biking, swimming, yoga, and public speaking.
