Attorney Biography
It has been Angela’s pleasure and honor to accompany her active-duty U.S. Army spouse throughout his career. Now permanently located in Colorado Springs, she has been overjoyed to have returned to her profession and calling. It is her passion to provide dynamic, dedicated, client-focused litigation advocacy. While she enjoyed her initial years of practice working for a large law firm and serving corporate and institutional clients, Angela finds it especially rewarding to have the opportunity to employ the skills and experience that she gained in that setting for the benefit of her individual and small business clients.
Angela attended Austin Peay State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in political science, cum laude, in 1996. Her honors there included, among others, being named a Harry S. Truman Scholar. She earned her law degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1999. While in law school, Angela served as a Tennessee Law Review editor, worked as a community mediator, and was inducted into both the Order of the Coif and Phi Kappa Phi.
Angela is licensed to practice law in both Colorado and Tennessee. She was admitted to the Tennessee State Bar in 1999, to the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Tennessee in 2000, to the Colorado State Bar in 2014, and to the U.S. District Court, District of Colorado in 2015. Her civil litigation experience includes family law, business, employment, bankruptcy, real estate, and probate matters.
