As a distinguished attorney with over twenty years of comprehensive legal experience, he brings an extraordinary depth of family law practice to his work, having been involved in thousands of cases dealing with everything from high-asset divorces to custody modifications. His particular expertise in restraining orders and domestic violence cases has become a cornerstone of his practice, offering clients efficient, effective representation in these time-sensitive matters.
His career spans both prosecution and defense, beginning as a Deputy City Attorney in San Diego and later founding Premier Criminal Defense (formerly Slattery Law Firm), where he successfully handled over 100 trials. As the former Supervising Attorney at Pacific Law Center, he demonstrated his leadership capabilities by managing a team of 30 criminal defense attorneys and overseeing a total staff of 130 employees.
From bitterly contested litigation to agreeable mediation, he has dealt with every iteration and manifestation of the legal process. Unfazed and unperturbed by complex proceedings, he has also been successful in the appellate arena. His international credentials, including certification to practice in the European Union and 30 other countries through the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test from the Oxford Institute, reflect his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of legal expertise.
His educational background includes a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, from Barry University in Miami, Florida.
