Mallery & Stern is a boutique firm specializing in Workers' Compensation and related issues.  The firm was established in 1976 in Claremont, CA and opened the Los Angeles Office in 1987.  The firm has an Inland Office presence with an office in Rancho Cucamonga.

The majority of clients that Mallery & Stern represent are Police Officers, Highway Patrol Officers, Correctional and Parole Agenst as well as other Fire and Safety Officers.

The firm is known for its aggressive and ethical representation of its clients in seeking the benefits due to the clients for the injuries suffered by them.

Lawrence I. Stern has been a Board Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation for over 30 years.  He has been a listed as a Super Lawyer in the State of California since 2006 and listed as one of the Top 10 Best Lawyers in Workers' Compensation by The American Institute of Legal Counsel since 2016.

Jeffrey M. Stern has been named by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star.  He was the first attorney to receive the Young Lawyer of the Year Award by the State Bar of California in Worker's Compensation.

Lauren C. Trenor is the newest attorney to join Mallery & Stern and she brings a defense background to the firm.  She has been selected by both the Southern California Applicant Attorneys Association and the California Applicant Attorneys Association to participate on multiple Education Panels.
