About Eliana Phelps

Attorney Biography

I am the founder of Law Offices of Eliana Phelps, which is a California based Law Firm that primarily represent clients in the areas of Immigration, Criminal and Family Law. Immigration law is a very complicated and complex area, and only the most experienced immigration lawyers have the skill to effectively represent immigration clients. The immigration and nationality law attorneys at the Law Offices of Eliana Phelps are equipped with a variety of legal strategies to properly represent your unique immigration case.

Eliana Phelps was born in Cali, Colombia, South America as the youngest daughter of an Italian immigrant and Colombian citizen. At the age of two, Mrs. Phelps spoke perfect the Spanish language equivalent to a child of 10 years of age. As a result of her extraordinary ability to speak fluently the language and use words not proper for a child of such tender age, she was professionally described as a "special child". Later in life this ability translated in to a strong interest and inclination for writing, reading, debating and assisting politicians and professors in the writing of speeches. Mrs. Phelps found herself fascinated for the laws governing the destiny of nations and its inhabitants and pursued the law career, resulting in her being awarded a bachelor degree in Law. Before graduating as an attorney, Mrs. Phelps worked for various law firms in the fields of criminal, family and business law, and later after becoming a lawyer, her inclination was criminal, family and immigration law. Mrs. Phelps is very knowledgeable in the laws and regulations pertaining to the field of Immigration, Criminal Law and Family Law and has several years of practical experience in front of both Administrative and Judicial Courts. An advocate for human rights believes in justice and the role of the professionals in the legal field to promote the enactment and implementation of new and existing laws and assist those in charged of enforcing the laws to correctly interpret the provisions in a manner that Justice is served.
