Mr. Hensel is a partner at Bartell, Hensel & Gressley in Riverside, California. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1983 and to the State Bar of Nebraska in 1984. Mr. Hensel graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law with a Juris Doctorate Degree with Distinction in 1983 where he was also a Member of The Law Review and the Order of The Coif. While he is known primarily as a Family Law Attorney, Mr. Hensel has practiced Criminal Law and Civil Litigation extensively and has handled numerous jury trials with tremendous results in a wide variety of areas. Mr. Hensel while based in Riverside California has handled voluminous matters throughout California as well as in other States on a frequent basis. In addition, Mr. Hensel is admitted to practice before all of the Federal District Courts in California, the Federal District Court of Nebraska, The Eighth and Nineth United States Circuit Courts of Appeal as well as being admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of The United States.

While in College, Mr. Hensel was a 4 year starter at Elmhurst for College Football Hall of Fame Coach Tom Beck where he was an All-Conference Defensive Tackle and was a member of Elmhurst's First Conference Championship Team in History. His football career was ended by numerous knee injuries but his competitive nature and intensity has found a home in courtrooms.
