Attorney Biography
David Azran has been practicing law since 1985, however, he has been working in the personal injury field of law since 1982; in law clerk positions for two of the top personal injury firms in the country. One of those firms practiced insurance defense law, where Mr. Azran learned about how insurance defense attorneys strategize, attack, and settle injury victim claims. The experience that Mr. Azran gained on the defense side of litigated claims, has not only taught him how to best anticipate and combat insurance defense tactics, yet it also inspired his passion of fighting for the rights of innocent injured victims against the insurance industry.
Mr. Azran received his Bachelor’s Degree from Occidental College in 1979, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. There, while fulfilling his law school pre-requisite courses, he pursued a pre-med curriculum, leading to his obtaining his Master’s Degree in Public Health from U.C.L.A. in 1981, and his developing a strong medical background. Given the medical expert-driven nature of today’s injury claims environment, this background has proven to be most valuable in Mr. Azran’s legal representation of accident injury victims.
In 1981, Mr. Azran attended law school at the prestigious Los Angeles campus of Loyola Law School, and he was able to complete the full law school curriculum in 3 years, while working as a law clerk during the last 2 years.
Since 1985, Mr. Azran has represented thousands of accident injury victim clients, and he has managed to obtain millions of dollars in settlements, arbitration awards, and jury verdicts for his clients. He is an active member of the State Bar of California and the federal, United States District Court. In 2014, he was selected for membership to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Trial Lawyers.
Aside from being a firm believer in our Constitutional principles that every innocent injury victim, no matter who they are, is entitled to justice, through effective legal representation, Mr. Azran is keenly aware of the undeniable fact that the injury claims process operates in an adversarial arena, where a strong technical working knowledge of medicine, accident reconstruction, and occupant kinematics are essential components to the attorney’s arsenal in the fight for the rights of his clients, so that their ultimate recovery is maximized, and they receive the full and fair compensation which they are legally entitled to.
