Christopher Light

Mr. Light has dedicated his life to helping people and defending their rights and interests. Mr. Light litigated thousands of criminal cases across the state of Colorado as a Deputy State Public Defender in the Glenwood Springs, Alamosa, and Denver regional offices of the Colorado State Public Defender in the first five years of his legal career. Known for his zealous trial advocacy, Mr. Light has tried a wide-array of high-stakes jury trials including homicide, sex assaults, and assault on peace officer cases. Mr. Light has secured acquittals and dismissals for individuals facing significant sentences, including indeterminate life sentences. Mr. Light has also tried a significant number of DUI/DWAI jury trials and has given trainings to other attorneys on alcohol breath testing defenses.

Mr. Light is licensed to practice law in California and Colorado. He is a member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, the Colorado Bar Association, Denver County Bar Association and sits on the Board of Directors for the Mountain High Camp for young adults with brain injuries.
