Brian Edward Dougherty

Brian E. Dougherty is an associate of Hiden, Rott & Oertle, LLP, and works in the firm’s San Diego office. His main focus is workers’ compensation including catastrophic injuries, civil litigation, and employment and labor law. Brian has been with this firm since 2007 when he started out as an intern and worked his way up to a Paralegal and finally an Attorney. Mr. Dougherty gained an extensive amount of experience working with Michael Rott on many of the firm’s high profile cases. This experience has enabled him to hit the ground running as an attorney.

Brian attended Saint Mary’s College of California, where he attained a BA in Political science, while participating in Elected Government and Rugby for 3-years. He then attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law here in San Diego and attained an internship at Hiden, Rott and Oertle, which ultimately lead to the position he has now.Brian has a passion for advocating for the working man and woman. Since coming to Hiden, Rott & Oertle, Brian has always been supportive of organized labor and makes sure that the working men and women of Southern California are protected from workplace harassment and that they receive the proper medical treatment and compensation for all injuries on the job.When not in the office Brian spends time playing Gaelic Football in San Diego for Setanta GFC, working out and spending time with his family.
