Attorney Biography
Rhonda came to Alaska after law school graduation in 1976 to clerk for the late Justice Jay A. Rabinowitz on the Alaska Supreme Court. After her clerkship, she spent 12 years as a prosecutor in the District Attorney's Office and Office of Special Prosecutions and Appeals, where she learned and taught trial advocacy, conducted approximately 150 jury trials, and handled about 70 appeals. She joined the Civil Section of the Attorney General's Office, where she spent over 7 years representing the State of Alaska Child Support Enforcement Division. After she retired from state service, she began practicing family law in the private sector. She handles child support problems, custody, divorce, visitation, and modifications at the superior court level, and she handles appeals in the Alaska Supreme Court.
