Meghna Hitendra Patel

Meghna Patel is an associate attorney at the Hegwood Law Group. Meghna is a 2003 graduate of Clements High School in Sugar Land. She received her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Houston in 2007, along with a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Houston in 2011. Meghna received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 2014. While attending law school, Meghna was a legal intern for the Honorable Jacqueline Lucci Smith and the Honorable Theresa Chang. While in law school, Meghna was an Associate Editor for the Texas Journal of Business Law, along with the Corporate Counsel Review, where her article was published. She has completed the 40-hour mediation training and has mediated several cases. Meghna assists clients in various legal areas including estate planning, probate, guardianship, and elder law matters. In her spare time, Meghna enjoys shopping, traveling, and going to the gym. Her favorite sports teams are the Astros, Rockets, and the Texans.
