About Tammy Sheila Dusharm

Attorney Biography

Attorney Tammy Dusharm is an attorney in Newport, PA and has a long history of working for clients who are facing difficult legal situations. She began her legal career as a paralegal in Phoenix, Arizona, working with attorneys who practiced family law, civil litigation, workers’ compensation, estate administration, and estate planning. She decided to expand her ability to help others by attending law school at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. While there, she earned pro bono distinction for performing over 150 hours of pro bono work during law school. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and in the top 10 percent of her class.

Tammy Dusharm has represented clients in Arizona and Pennsylvania for more than 10 years. Although she opened her own law office after law school, she was drawn to public service. She spent more than eight years as a court-appointed public defender, first in the Mohave County Legal Defender’s Office in Arizona and then at the Franklin County Public Defender’s Office in Pennsylvania. She has successfully defended countless criminal defendants charged with all levels of criminal offenses and DUIs, from minor traffic tickets to serious felony charges.

Although Attorney Dusharm no longer works in public service, she continues to vigorously represent people charged with committing criminal offenses. She also assists clients with expungements and pardons so they can clear up their criminal records and get back on track with their lives. Attorney Dusharm knows how negatively a criminal record can affect clients’ entire lives, and she diligently works to help them at every stage of the criminal justice process.

Tammy is now a criminal attorney, expungement lawyer, family law attorney, divorce lawyer, child custody lawyer, bankruptcy attorney, drug lawyer, DUI lawyer, and much much more. She works to help people minimize the impact of legal situations on their lives so that they can move forward.

Tammy Dusharm resides in Perry County, Pennsylvania with her two daughters. Outside of work she dedicates herself to family time and community activities
