Attorney Biography
Attorney Oscar Espinoza brings a broad and well-rounded background to his legal practice, including years of experience litigating wrongful death and neglect cases as well as working on the defense side of personal injury law. This diverse experience gives him a valuable, insider perspective when evaluating claims and developing effective strategies on behalf of his clients.
Originally from Managua, Nicaragua, Oscar immigrated to the United States with his family at the age of nine. As a fluent Spanish speaker, he understands firsthand the importance of accessible legal representation for Spanish-speaking individuals and is deeply committed to serving the Hispanic community. Oscar chose to pursue a career in law out of a desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, help clients understand their rights, and guide them through an often complex legal system. He is also drawn to the intellectual challenge of the profession and values the opportunity to continually learn and grow as an attorney.
Oscar believes strong advocacy begins with a solid attorney-client relationship built on trust, communication, and mutual respect. From the outset of a case, he takes time to explain the law and how it applies to each client’s specific circumstances, empowering them to make informed decisions. His approach centers on telling the human story behind every case and clearly conveying how injuries and loss impact a client’s life, with the client’s well-being always remaining his top priority.
Outside of work, Oscar enjoys supporting local sports teams—including KU basketball, the Chiefs, and the Royals—as well as the Baylor Bears. He also loves traveling, spending time with family and friends, and watching his son compete in baseball. Oscar is active in the community as a board member for KidsTLC in Olathe and is involved with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City, where he connects with and supports business leaders throughout the region.
