Kevin Alan Carr

Kevin Carr is a seasoned trial attorney at DM Injury Law who represents individuals and families in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and serious personal injuries. He is deeply committed to standing up for victims harmed by negligence and helping them pursue justice against powerful entities.

Although Kevin has a background rooted in public service, his motivation to practice law is also deeply personal. His mother suffered severe injuries caused by a defective product and encountered significant resistance from the companies responsible, which attempted to avoid accountability. With the help of skilled legal counsel, she ultimately obtained the compensation and justice she deserved. Witnessing that process firsthand left a lasting impression on Kevin and shaped his determination to advocate for people facing corporations that prioritize profits over safety.

A Missouri native raised in Lee’s Summit, Kevin earned his undergraduate degree in political science and philosophy from the University of Missouri, followed by his Juris Doctor from the same institution. During law school, he served as Managing Editor of the Journal of Dispute Resolution, acted as President of the Federalist Society, and worked with Mizzou’s Veterans Clinic to assist veterans in securing critical benefits. He also gained valuable experience in the general counsel’s office of the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.

Before entering private practice, Kevin worked on high-level political campaigns and served in the Missouri Governor’s Office, where he helped thousands of Missourians resolve issues with state agencies and access essential services. That role refined his ability to guide people through stressful, unexpected situations with patience, clarity, and compassion—qualities that continue to define his approach as an attorney.
