Attorney Biography
Drew Ward is a personal injury attorney who has been drawn to the legal profession since an early age, motivated by a desire to help people navigate a system that can feel confusing and intimidating. A Missouri native, Drew earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri–Columbia before obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law.
After law school, Drew developed a broad legal foundation through work in a variety of professional settings. He gained experience at law firms in both Kansas City and Hannibal and also served as a federal court intern for the Honorable Beth Phillips. These opportunities allowed him to view the legal process from multiple perspectives and refine his skills in both litigation and negotiation.
Over the course of his career, Drew has handled hundreds of bench trials and built substantial experience in civil litigation and general practice. While he is well prepared to take cases to trial, he believes true success comes from achieving outcomes that align with each client’s individual goals. By working closely with his clients and taking on the burdens of litigation himself, Drew aims to make the legal process as straightforward and stress-free as possible.
Outside of his practice, Drew enjoys spending time with his wife, Carlie, their two daughters, and their black lab. He is an avid sports fan—particularly when it comes to Mizzou athletics—and enjoys working on his golf game in his free time.
